What rocks your bliss?
Supporting others connect to themselves on both a physical and emotional level (and the two are very much intertwined!) so that they feel nourished and empowered! I do this by sharing cleanses and superfood powders, honey, and coconut butters through my wellness company, Philosophie, personal coaching, + leading yoga retreats.
Describe your perfect day.
I do a yoga flow with my kiddies, make them a breakfast that makes them smile + fall in love with wholesome food even more. Then I’d get a relaxing Thai massage, go to a spin or kickboxing class, go to Venice to visit all of my beautiful soul sisters, and then close the day with something simple, maybe take an evening walk in nature + then have a movie night with my hubbie + the kids!
Share a huge goal you are rocking.
I'm on a retreat writing this RIGHT NOW with Free People in Yelapa, MX.
I worked very hard to get to this point and manifested this straight out of my dreams. I led a new moon circle yesterday that was EPIC magic and I want to continue leading them to create community and sisterhood.
If you could get on a plane right now, where are you going?
I actually will be getting on a plane very soon! I’ll be traveling to Tulum, Mexico with my soul sister, Rachelle Tratt of The Neshama Project, to co-lead our Nourish Your Soul Retreat. We’re offering a full week or a mini-vacay (we have 3 and 4 day options) of magical love for the soul. We start each + every day of our retreat with meditation by the sea, then a 90-minute powerful yoga flow. Our practice space is so healing and rejuvenating as we strip away our masks and peel away the layers of what holds us back from being our most authentic selves. Our flows are followed by delicious + cleansing Philosophie meals, and then we spent the rest of the day reading mantras, doing shamanic breathwork, receiving acupuncture + deep healing body treatments, sun worshipping, journaling, snorkeling with the fish + sea turtles, and exploring Mayan ruins. It’s an absolute dream + a journey that stays with you once you’ve returned home.
How do you handle setbacks?
While they can lead to emotions like fear, anger, and pain, setbacks are ultimately challenges that you can choose to use to become a stronger, wiser, more compassionate version of your current self. I believe in recognizing and acknowledging those negative feelings, especially through journaling, reflecting on what you may have actually learned or gained from the setback, and then setting a positive intention on how you’ll gracefully move forward.
3 ways you rock the self LOVE.
I do everything from a place of love—which means working out because I actually love the movements that I’m having my body do, or eating because I love how the food tastes and how it makes me feel. The moment you do something that’s “good for you” without having any passion for it is the moment that it loses some of its power.
I seek balance for myself and say “yes” and “no” when I need to. I fully accept and embrace support from my tribe of family and friends, especially when I’m feeling overwhelmed, and also say “no” when I know that doing something or further extending myself would shift me into an unbalanced state.
I surround myself with positivity, beauty, and love—in terms of everything from the foods that I eat to the people who I have relationships with—so that I feel fully energized + inspired each day to create, build, and grow.
