What rocks your bliss?

+ Connecting with others

+ Living boldly and fearlessly

+ Traveling to new places

+ My personal yoga practice

+ The opportunity to make an impact

Describe your perfect day.

I wake up to the ocean waves crashing onto the shore. I roll over to find the one I love next to me. I make a piping hot cup of coffee and sit out on my balcony overlooking the beach. I meditate for 20 minutes before I work through my personal emails. I take a hot, sweaty, challenging yoga class and then meet a friend for lunch. On the way home, I stop at a local farmer’s market to pick up what I need to make dinner. I spend the afternoon connecting with my mentees, confirming and planning upcoming travel, and goal-getting. I make a healthy dinner for me and my love – which includes my favorite bottle of Pinot Noir. We sit by the beach, sip wine, and watch the sunset.

Share a huge goal you are rocking.

Where do I start?! One of my goals is to travel, teach yoga, and speak about “living fearlessly.” I am in the process of connecting with studios/studio owners outside of the Cleveland area. I want to share my story – how yoga has propelled me into a life of possibility. I am a huge proponent of goal-setting – actually, it’s one of my favorite things to do – for myself, and with others. I am living proof that pen to paper manifests goals into dreams. Through my teaching, my hope is to inspire others to live boldly, authentically, and fearlessly.

If you could get on a plane right now, where are you going?

If I could get on a plane right now, with no financial limitations, I would travel to Bali, Indonesia. I am captivated by the serenity, beauty, and magic of Bali.

How do you handle setbacks?

Setbacks can either paralyze you or propel you. Setbacks are opportunities in disguise – but we don’t always recognize the silver lining at the time.I am a big believer in “everything happens for a reason” and “you’re exactly where you need to  be.” A setback is a sign to take a different path – which isn’t easy, but you keep moving forward.

3 ways you rock the self LOVE.

1) I get on my mat at least 5 days a week – to move, to breath, to sweat, and to connect with myself

2) One night a week is dedicated to “nothingness” – no one to see, nowhere to be, nothing to do – I usually cook a meal for myself and enjoy a nice (big) glass of wine while I read or watch mindless television (usually Bravo)

3) Self-care – manicures, pedicures, massages, hair – the ultimate bliss!
