Angela Leigh

Meet Angela Leigh. Angela is the founder and creator of PURELEIGHLIVING with a mission that reads "Be Real, Live Well, Feel Free". Obviously we are in love. She rocks the bliss via the instructor life at Equinox South Bay in Cali (be ready to sweat and smile at the same time), wellness coach (talking nourishment and body love), mamahood to her sweet frenchie LuBear and vulnerable and raw writing.

What rocks your bliss? Where to start!? Simple pleasures. Seattle skyline. LA hikes. Snuggle moments with LuBear. Butter Brew. Cooking. Yoga. Kissing (haven't had that in a while, but I remember it rocked my bliss) Throwing heavy weight around. Flirting. Girl time. Seeing others rock their bliss. Coaching others to greatness. Unlocking boundaries. Getting lost in good conversation. Reading. Netflix. Self-development.

Describe your perfect day. Sunrise walk with LuBear. Butter brew with some of my girls. Hiking the LA mountains listening to my Above the Line playlist. Finding a quiet corner in a coffee shop to journal, create & connect to my vision. Hit up a dance class followed by yummy bubble bath & if I'm really going for it a dinner date with close friends and of course sleepy time with my Lu.

Share a huge goal you are rocking. Graduating the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) in June & launching a personalized online wellness program. Completing a Behavior Change Specialty Certification to bolster the roots of my program.

If you could get on a plane right now, where are you going? Greece. I fell in love with the country eight years ago & want to go back...forever.

How do you handle setbacks? I stopped taking things & people so personally and that has drastically dropped the number of self induced meltdowns. Some say setbacks, I'd call them opportunities. Opportunities to step up, show up, be present and make the best if what has been presented to you. This was a game changer for me. I realized a few years ago that no one is going to do anything for me, my life's direction is up to me and me only. Placing ownership or blame on others for my misfortune or lack of success is unfounded and only brings me down. Eyes up, gaze forward, open your heart and keep it moving!

3 ways you rock the self LOVE. 1) I focus on my own shit. Period. There is no shortage of success. 2) I do one thing a day, everyday, no matter what, that fuels my soul. 3) I am transparent about my struggle & journey to this point. Sharing my vulnerability has opened so many airtight doors to new feelings of love & compassion.
